Main Star Awards are very hard extra homework. I did mine on paper and we don't have a scanner so the pictures showing my work are not so good. If you can not see my work in the pictures you can click it and it will make them bigger for you to read. By the way some pictures are on their sides.
One of the Main Stars questions was, "If I was mayor for a day"
I think the mayor really liked the things I would change if I was mayor.
Another one of our tasks was to describe Matariki
Matariki is the name of a cluster of stars. It rises in mid-winter-June.
I chose three interesting newspaper articles.
It is interesting for me to see what the aquatic centre looked like seven years ago.
Imagine if Antonow AN-225 landed in Greymouth! It would take up the whole airfield.
I think measles are a silly thing that should not happen. If John Key had saved the money from the flag, everyone could have been vaccinated.
I had to create a brochure about a charity. I chose St John.
I think They are a great charity; that is why I joined.
ANZAC DAY
This year at the cenotaph in Greymouth I was going to parade with St John but the mayor chose me to lay a wreathe.
This is a biography of Tony Kokshoorn. You may know by now he is a very good friend of mine.
Lastly I had to write a letter to the editor of the Greymouth Star, here it is.
