On Thursday there was a Kapa Haka Festival in Greymouth. The Grey Main School kapa Haka performed and I am in the Grey Main School Kapa haka group. Here is a video of our performances. We won some prizes.

BOOK WEEK 2016
BOOK WEEK
This week is book week, if you do not know what book week is, it is where we do a lot of things related to books.

This year we had the wacky Wednesday on Thursday. It was the wackest Wednesday ever. For wacky Wednesday you make you self look very wacky but you still have wear school inform. Some people wore PJ's over there school inform other people had things in there hair.
On Friday we had book character day. Book character day is when you dress up like your favorite character from your favorite book so this year I when as Harry Potter. Here is a picture of me and my Harry Potter book.
We also had golden tickets. There was one every day and you won nine books I wanted to find one but I did not find one. But there is one left today and I might find it. Here is a picture.
Our class did buddy reading. Buddy reading is when you read to a buddy or your buddy reads to you. We read as many books as we could. My buddy was DJ.
There was also a competition for who has the best door. I think we are going to win. You have to make you door from a book. We did the BFG and Charlie in the chocolate factory. We made the BFG bottom and legs because he is so big, we also fulled some jar. to make them look like the dreams. For Charlie and the chocolate factory were made the lolly that they have in the book and made an Ompa Lompa. The competition is going to be judged on Monday. This play is a fun and great written by Shakespeare I hope to read the next book because Shakespeare is a awesome writer.

Tom and the siege
Tom and the siege is a good book if you like knights and fighting.Then this is the book for you. My favorite part is when the baddies die and the goodies win.
